I won't lie to you getting into Brown isOct 18 2003History/Histories (art history/etc.)
I won't lie to you; getting into Brown is exceedingly difficult! If anything, Brown likes students that it believes will take advantage of its open curriculum. Therefore, having varied academic interests and strengths will help you. Having a particularly strong extracurricular talent (e.g. music, art, a sport, some really special community work, etc.) also is important, as there are just so many qualified people applying to Brown that you really need to distinguish yourself. Admission here is such a crapshoot though so don't be dissapointed if you don't get in. You can always try to transfer later on if you're still hung up on Brown, which is perfectly understandable.
